Orthodontics is about more than looks: crowded or gapped teeth are harder to clean and strain your bite and jaw joint. Orthodontics is right for you if
- Your teeth are crowded, overlapping, or visibly gapped
- You have a bite issue: protruding upper or lower jaw, or an open bite
- You're an adult who postponed braces for years thinking it's too late, it isn't
- You're a teen at the ideal age to correct tooth and jaw alignment
- You want a result that lasts, with a clear retention plan after treatment ends
Your orthodontic journey, step by step
- 01
Exam, imaging, and diagnosis
We examine your teeth and bite with imaging and photos, diagnose the exact issue, and lay out the appliance options that fit your case and budget.
- 02
A plan with a clear timeline
Before anything is fitted, you know the expected duration, the full cost, and the payment schedule, no surprises mid-treatment.
- 03
Fitting and monthly adjustments
Your appliance is fitted, then adjusted at regular visits every 4–6 weeks so your teeth move safely along the planned path.
- 04
Retention, protecting the result
After the braces come off, a retainer protects your new alignment, an essential phase we never compromise on.
Specialist care, disciplined follow-up
Orthodontics at Avyla is delivered exclusively by orthodontic specialists, using certified international brackets and wires with digital case planning, and a disciplined follow-up system that keeps your treatment from dragging on unnecessarily, with full sterilization at every visit.

Frequently asked questions
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Usually 12–24 months, depending on crowding severity, bite issues, appliance type, and your commitment to appointments. You get a clear estimate in your treatment plan before fitting, actual duration varies case by case.
Is there an age limit? Is it too late for adults?
There's no upper age limit, teeth move at any age as long as your gums and bone are healthy, and we treat patients in their thirties and forties with excellent results. For teens, ages 12–16 is usually the ideal window.
Do braces hurt?
Fitting itself is painless. You may feel pressure and soreness for the first days and after each adjustment, easing within 2–3 days with a mild painkiller and soft food. Most of our patients adapt faster than they expected.
Clear aligners or fixed braces, which is better?
Each has its place. Clear aligners are nearly invisible and removable for eating and cleaning, but demand 20–22 hours of daily wear and suit specific cases; fixed braces handle more complex cases and don't rely on your discipline. After your exam, we'll recommend what genuinely fits your case.
What happens after braces come off? Are retainers essential?
Retainers are essential and non-negotiable, teeth naturally drift back after braces are removed. We fit a fixed or removable retainer to suit your case and set a clear wear schedule, protecting a result you spent months earning.
