IV Drip Therapy, a measured correction rather than a generic recipe
An IV drip delivers fluids, vitamins, and minerals straight into the bloodstream, bypassing the gut and arriving at full concentration. At Avyla we don't treat it as a cosmetic session sold to everyone, but as a medical step that follows blood work showing what you're actually short of. And we'll say it plainly: if your gut absorbs well and your diet is balanced, oral intake comes first, and the vein is reserved for cases that genuinely call for it.

An infusion may suit you if
- Your blood work shows a real vitamin or mineral deficiency that oral intake alone struggles to correct
- You have an absorption problem that makes oral supplements less effective
- You're dehydrated after a stomach bug, heavy exertion, or high heat
- You're on a nutrition or contouring programme and your clinician wants to support a specific phase of it
- You want an honest assessment that tells you whether you need this at all
How a session works
- 01
Assessment and blood work first
We review your history, medications, and kidney and cardiac function, and request the necessary tests. No infusion is formulated before we know what you're short of, in numbers.
- 02
A formula set for your case
Your clinician sets the components and doses from your results, not from a menu. Some cases need hydration only, and some don't need the session at all.
- 03
The session, under observation
You sit comfortably while the solution runs at a measured rate, with your vitals monitored. Duration depends on the formula, and the team stays with you throughout.
- 04
Follow-up by measurement, not by feel
We repeat the tests after an appropriate interval to see whether the deficiency actually corrected, and decide together whether repeating is warranted or the need has passed.
Medical supervision, and clear limits
Infusions are prescribed and supervised by medical staff, with sterile single-use equipment, inside the clinic rather than at home. And we draw the line plainly: IV therapy is not a treatment for obesity, it does not detoxify the body, and it does not raise immunity in general. Your kidneys and liver handle filtration, and immunity is built by sleep, nutrition, and movement. What we offer is correcting a confirmed deficiency and hydrating when needed, and that alone has real value when it's genuinely indicated.

Frequently asked questions
Does an IV drip boost immunity?
Not in the way it's usually advertised. Correcting a real deficiency such as vitamin D or iron improves how the body functions, immunity included, but giving vitamins to someone who isn't short of anything doesn't raise immunity, and the excess is either passed in urine or, in certain cases, accumulates. That's why we start with tests.
Does it detox the body?
Your liver and kidneys are the body's filtration system, and they work around the clock. No infusion performs or accelerates their job in a healthy person. What genuinely helps them is adequate hydration, sleep, and a balanced diet.
Does it help with weight loss?
No. There's no infusion that burns fat. Weight loss comes from a calorie deficit inside a properly designed plan. An infusion may support a specific phase of that plan if a deficiency is holding your progress back, and no more than that.
Is it safe, and what are the possible side effects?
Generally safe when it's prescribed after assessment, given under medical supervision, and administered with sterile equipment. Possible effects include pain or bruising at the site, a temporary metallic taste, and rarely an allergic reaction. It's unsuitable in kidney or cardiac failure and some other conditions, which is exactly what the pre-session assessment is for.
How often can it be repeated?
There's no fixed schedule for everyone. Repetition depends on the type of deficiency and how it responds, and it's reviewed with tests. Routine infusions without a medical reason are not a practice we follow.
